Meet The Team
Jeff Martello, DDS
Dr. Jeff Martello grew up in Lima, Ohio. He attended the University of Notre Dame before receiving his dental degree from The Ohio State College of Dentistry. Continuing his dental education, Dr. Martello participated in an AGD/GPR residency at The Ohio State College of Dentistry. He was the Emergency Room Chairman and The Ohio State Athletics Team Dentist of all sports for two years.
Dr. Martello worked at Children’s Hospital for 10 years, taught dental hygiene and expanded functions for 3 years at Ohio State, and ran his own dental practice for 28 years. He can perform a multitude of procedures, but truly enjoys placing dental implants, surgeries, and dental cosmetics.
Dr. Martello has a wife named Shara and two sons, Matt and Michael. He also has two French Bulldogs, Vinny and Vito. In his spare time he enjoys training in the gym and in sports with his two sons.
Michael Martello
As the Clinical Manager at Parkway Dental Arts, Michael oversees the daily operations of the clinical team, ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of care in a comfortable environment. With extensive hands on experience as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Michael bridges the gap between clinical excellence and practice management supporting both the dental team and patients alike.
His leadership focuses on efficiency, precision and patient satisfaction, overseeing staff training, treatment coordination, and quality assurance across the clinical procedures. Michael also collaborates closely with Dr. Martello to maintain the practice’s reputation for integrity, innovation and personal care.

Ashley – Dental Hygienist
Experience & Background
Ashley brings more than 22 years of experience in dentistry. She began her career in pediatric dentistry before earning her Dental Hygiene degree in 2010. Over the years, she has become known for her gentle touch and compassionate approach to patient care.
Patient Care Philosophy
Ashley takes pride in helping patients of all ages feel comfortable during their visits. She emphasizes education and preventive care, empowering individuals to maintain healthy, confident smiles for life. Building lasting relationships with her patients is what she values most, and she considers it a privilege to be part of their oral health journey.
Outside the Office
When she’s not caring for patients, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and making the most of everything the Lowcountry has to offer.
Meet Kristin
Dental Hygienist
Kristin is a highly experienced dental hygienist with over 25 years in the field. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and her Associate’s degree from Columbus State Community College. Throughout her career, Kristin has taught at The Ohio State University and began her professional journey in orthodontics, giving her a well-rounded clinical foundation.
She is passionate about helping patients maintain and strive for optimal oral hygiene, and she values building lasting connections with those she cares for in the chair. Kristin’s gentle approach, knowledge, and genuine investment in patient well-being make her a trusted and comforting presence in the office.
Outside of work, Kristin enjoys spending time with family and friends, swimming, walking, reading, and cooking. She loves the lifestyle of the Lowcountry and embraces everything it has to offer.
